She was giving food for around 10 dogs and now it is six street dogs that eat chicken and rice every day. Some of them live inside the compound. A few months ago they were living inside the house of Shuba Punja. For all six street dongs Shuba Punja spends Rs.5000 plus for food per month.

Another aspect is that she is also taking care of two cows – she has named it as ‘Durgi and Lakshmi’. The expenditure she incurs on two cows is roughly around Rs.5000 per month. Feeding cow is twice a day. Even the traditional food ‘Ganji’ is given to the cows.

The great animal lover of Kannada cinema industry challenging star Darshan also maintains the cows with other animals in his farm house in Mysore. Darshan is also aiming for competition of cow milk. He even remembers one of the cows in Mysore yielding 40 liters and 600 grams of milk in two times. The competition of cow milk yielding is neck to neck and sometime for 100 grams of cow milk the quarrel happens – we remember this on knowing the great service of what Shuba Punja is doing for two cows. Apparently Shuba Punja is not getting any benefit out of the cows.
